Our 16mm Stainless Steel Pot has an outside diameter of 16mm, a height of 12mm and has a 10mm, M4 threaded rod. This holding magnet has a pull force of 1 kilogram before releasing. (on a 3mm mild steel plate)

Uses for our 16mm Stainless Steel Pot:
Inside a round stainless steel casing sits a mounted Neodymium magnet. This changes the magnetic field produced by the magnet and deflects the field to create a powerful single sided holding magnet.
These magnets offer excellent corrosive resistance due to their stainless steel casing, meaning that these can be used in outdoor environments or harsh environments where the nickel plating would normally rust.
As these are completely sealed they also are able to be used for Marine purposes and also in food or dairy grade industries.
These stainless steel pots are unlike our standard Neodymium Pot range as they are able to be supplied as a matching set of poles, meaning these are able to not only be attached to a steel surface but also be attached magnet to magnet (to each other) as one will be made as a north pole and the other a south.
Neodymium magnets have a very high power to size ratio, even the smallest Neodymium magnets have a surprisingly large amount of pull. If subjected to temperatures of over 80°C Neodymium’s will start to permanently lose their magnetic properties. For high-temperature environments, we recommend the use of Samarium magnets.

- Magnets can wipe magnetic media such as credit cards, keep magnets away from these to avoid data loss.
