Our 50mm x 30mm x 10mm Neodymium Block has a length of 50mm, a width of 30mm and is 10mm thick. These Neodymium blocks are nickel plated and are N45 Grade with their magnetism running through the thickness (axially magnetised).
Unlike our standard Neodymium blocks this magnet is a high temperature magnet and has a higher tolerance of 120°C before losing some of its magnetism.
Customers can identify our 50mm x 30mm x 10mm Neodymium Block with our stock code: NB503010HT
Uses for our 50mm x 30mm x 10mm Neodymium Block:
Our Neodymium (Rare Earth) magnets have a very high power to size ratio. You will find that even the smallest Neodymium magnet will surprise you with its pull force. Take care while handling these as they will want to join together. If you allow these to join with force, they WILL shatter into small pieces.
You will find smaller sized Neodymium magnets are used in a wide range of applications from gate closures, computer sensors and magnetic hard drive disks. Retail spaces also use these magnets to secure racking and protect product in the form of alarms. With so many uses and due to their high power to size ratio, they are so versatile! Use them around the home, the office or even to hold your tools in the shed!
All of our Neodymium Magnets are plated in nickel unless otherwise stated.
As a result of these being so powerful and wanting to attract to each other, we must warn you of some potential hazards.
- Magnets can be deadly if ingested, not recommended for children.
- Use eye protection while using our magnets because if two join with force they may break or shatter.
- Magnets can wipe magnetic media such as credit cards, keep magnets away from these to avoid data loss.
