Print Ready Artwork

What's "Print Ready?"

A Quick Guide to Print

We prefer all colours to be supplied as CMYK, as RGB files may cause colour issues with certain types of print. Where you have a certain colour in mind and you can reference it to a Pantone colour please provide this to us so we can match.

Fonts and texts should be converted to curves/outlines as we may not have your fonts in our system.
If these are not converted we may need to do some tweaking to your file and this could incur a set up fee to make your file print ready.

Ideal print ready file formats are vector/scalable in .PDF .AI .EPS . CDR. PSD format. We are able to use any other format but these are often the easiest for us to work with and have the least issues when it comes to printing.
If you created your branding or files in software that is not suited for graphic design such as Microsoft Word or online services such as Canva your files may require tweaking and could incur a set up fee to make them print ready.

To get your files to us you can use the file uploaders in our contact forms or product pages. Alternatively you can email them to us, as long as they are less than 20 MBs. If your files are larger than this or you have a large number of files to upload/send you can send these to us using a file sharing service like DropBox, OneDrive, iCloud or Google Drive, sharing the files with [email protected] to make sure our team are able to access these files.
If you have any issues with getting these files to us, get in touch with our team and we can assist you.

Bleed Requirements

We require a minimum of 3mm of bleed around all edges of your artwork in order for us to print your artwork. If you do not supply bleed we will not be able to print your file and our designers may need to make some alterations to your file or design to make it print ready. (Charges may apply)

For example a 90mm x 55mm business card will need to have bleed bringing the overall design size to 96mm x 61mm. Please see the image for an example of print ready artwork with bleed.

If you need help or are unsure if your artwork is print ready, get in touch with the team.
