Magnetic Liquid Filters or traps are designed to extract fine ferromagnetic contamination from a wide range of liquids

Our magnetic liquid filters are designed to remove a range of ferromagnetic contamination from a variety of liquid or semi-liquid products such as syrups and chocolates.

The liquid filters utilise high strength rare earth neodymium magnets housed within a 316 stainless steel casing.  This design will not impede product flow whilst simultaneously ensuring that contaminants get maximum exposure to the filters magnetic field; resulting in optimum contaminant detection and separation.

The magnetc liquid filter is available in a standard or jacketed configuration. Both configurations have the option of having the easy-clean function added which allows the magnetic rods to be removed from the 316 stainless steel casing for ease of cleaning and removing collected contamination.

Jacketed filters use hot water or oil between the jacket and the main casing to ensure that the liquid product maintains a viscocity that will allow it to flow through the filter easily.

Standard configuration units have a strength rating of 10,000 – 10,500 gauss whilst easy clean units have a strength rating of approximately 8,000 gauss.

All our liquid filters are constructed to meet dairy industry standards and are fully welded and polished to 60-36 Ra.
The magnetic liquid filter has a maximum operating temperature of 80°C though high temperature versions are available on request which can operate up to 350°C.

A variety of inlet/oulet configurations can be ordered  to suit your plant requirements with standard pipe connections as well as custom connections available to ensure compatibility with your existing fittings.

To ensure the accuracy and expediancy of your quote please include the following with your enquiry:

1: Inlet/Outlet sizes and flange/connection requirements
2: Product type, product viscocity, flow rates and operating temperature
3: Whether you requir e a standard or jacketed unit with easy clean or non easy clean functionality
4: Any other custom requirement information e.g. unit size restrictions, additional housing features etc
