This unit is designed when product flow cannot be impeded by a magnetic system.
The deep field housed chute magnet (DFHCM) is designed to be implemented when it is absolutely essential that product flow not be impeded by a magnetic separation system.

Used in food, dairy, pharmeceutical and industrial applications, our DFHCM is built to remove a variety of ferrous contaminants, ranging from fine particulate through to larger objects, in high volume product lines. 

Dependant on your requirements, a DFHCM can be manufactured with one or two high strength rare earth plate magnets. If constructed with two, the magnets are positioned opposite each other on the housing of the unit. The use of high strength rare earth plate magnets, ensures that there is full pentration of the product by the DFHCMs magnetic field, capturing and holding any contaminannts within the product stream.

Raised catchment strips on the face of the plate magnets prevent any collected contaminant from getting ‘washed off’ by the product flow. If required custom deflection bars can be installed into the housing to split the product flow towards the sides with minimal impedance of flow rate.

The plate magnet(s) installed on the housing is hinged, allowing the magnets to swing out of the housing making cleaning and maintenance quick and easy as well as preventing contamination from re-entering the production cycle during cleaning.
Each deep field housed chute magnet is custom built, therefore inlet/outleflanges and any other features can be made to your exact specifications.

Our DFHCM  has a maximum operating temperature of 80°C though high temperature which can operate up to 350°C versions are available on request.
