DEEP FIELD OVERBAND MAGNET
 

Recycling, quarrying and heavy industries continue to benefit from metal contamination extracted by us of Permanent Magnetic Overband Units.
  

Placed above flat or trough type conveyors, a large permanent magnetic pack generates deep penetrating magnetic flux fields that attract and remove tramp steel items from conveyed products.
  

A rubber belt is driven around two rollers with the magnetic pack positioned in the centre. Ferrous items are attracted by the magnet to the belt's face and carried over and past the magnetic area until the contamination is deposited into a collection bin or skip. These units are designed and ideally suited for continuous use, where processing stops infrequently or for heavily contaminated products.
  

There are many models to choose from dependant on the conveyed product depth, with magnetic field depths of between 90mm to 350mm
