OVERHEAD CONVEYOR MAGNET
 

These units are designed to remove ferrous debris which eliminates product contamination, reduces damage to expensive machinery and minimises costly down time. 

 

There is no running cost apart from cleaning, as the magnets are permanent and need no power supply.  Ideal for applications such as in  quarries, bark distributors, concrete recyclers, earthmovers, tyre recycling plants, plastic recycling plants and any other conveying product line. 

 

These units can be built to any size required depending on the speed, depth and type of product flowing on your conveyor.  The width is always the same or slightly wider than your conveyor belt, the length being the most important factor in eliminating ferrous contamination.  For example: for large heavy or fast product flow the longer the product can flow under the magnet the more chance there is of pulling the contamination up through the product and removing it.
 

The bigger the magnet, the more time it has to remove contamination and the deeper and stronger the magnetic field will be.
