HIGH INTENSITY RARE EARTH SEPARATOR RODS
High Intensity Rare Earth Separator Rods are extremely efficient for removing fine iron contamination from free flowing products such as sugar, grain, tea, plastic granulate, powdered chemicals and liquids. These rods are ideal for engineers wishing to design and construct their own magnetic separators.
Polished 304/ 316 Grade Stainless Steel tubes contain Rare Earth Neodymium Iron Boron magnets and pole concentrators to generate extremely high intensity Magnetic Fields.
The rods are completely sealed and can be tapped either end. They can be assembled using stainless steel side plates to form Magnetic Grids or a single rod can be fitted into an existing mechanical filter to form a combination filter.
Contamination such as rust, steel scrapings and wear from machinery are often too small to be detected by a metal detector, but are easily removed by these highly effective rods.
The standard magnetic rods have a magnetic rating between 11,000 and 12,000 Gauss on the rod's surface. Easy clean systems are between 7,000 to 9,000 Gauss and there are options for high temperature applications over 80 degrees Celsius.
