ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS
Already have digital artwork? Files should be saved in PC format with 3mm of bleed, trim marks and die lines (where appropriate). Colours should be CMYK and text converted to paths/curves/outlines. Please check your file meets our criteria listed below. We prefer these vector formats: .cdr (version 12), .ai (version CS12), .eps, .pdf, .ps but can also except these raster formats: .jpeg, .bmp, .psd, .tiff Raster files need to be high resolution - 600dpi (not just resampled) also with 3mm of bleed and trim marks (no die lines). If changes are required to these files extra charges may be incurred.
Already have artwork, but not in digital format? Our designers can turn your printed logo/design into a digital format. A vector file is usually created as this can be accepted by anyone in the print trade e.g. Signwriters, Screenprinters, Offset Printers, and will never distort or deterarate no matter how large it is reproduced. Again the costs will be given on a case by case basis as the complexity of artwork needs to be assessed. Once we have created your artwork it can be supplied via email or on a CD in industry standard formats .eps, .ai, .psd, & jpg to ensure you will never have to pay reproduction costs again. We have listed information below to help you help us to minimise mistakes and to ensure a fast turnaround.
Have no artwork? Our talented in house design team can create your artwork from scratch. Whether it's a new logo, magnet or stationery we will do our best to create something you will be proud to have your name on. As there is no 2 jobs quite the same this will be charged on a case by case basis. Once we have created your artwork it can be supplied via email or on a CD in industry standard formats .eps, .ai, .psd, & jpg to ensure you will never have to pay reproduction costs again. What you can do to help our designers
1. Specify any fonts you wish to incorporate. (Uncommon fonts may need to be purchased) 2. Give us clear indication of any colours that are wanted. (This may include supplying printed material to match to) 3. Supply any photos you may wish to use. (If these are to be supplied via email or disc please refer to file specs below) 4. It is important to supply clearly written text. (This can be supplied via hard copy, email or disc) 5. Any ideas you may have regarding the look of your artwork need to be conveyed to the sales rep. (This is so the designers can incorporate your ideas into their designs)
Art files can be emailed to us as regular, zipped or stuffed files, or can be supplied on DVD, CD, Zip, USB Removable Drives & 3 « inch discs. Microsoft Word, Works or Publisher files can not be used as they are incompatible with professional printing software.
